Beautiful, haunting, mysterious…….Coltrane music is something special. And then I read that the song was Coltrane's favorite composition, written as a love letter to his first wife, Naima ( Juanita Naima Grubb).
This is a slow ballad, reverential, it seems to stand still, as if time stood still when you played - an amazing performance budo.
Again, my listening - section that starting from 2,08 (I like it) section starting from 3,15 (like it even more) secton 3,38 - 4,07 (best, very nice playing)
Ending 6,12…..wonderful chords.
