Topic: [feature req] reload last performance settings

i don't know about you guys but when i spend time a bit of time in my notation software, running ptq as a vst, I forget I've tweaked a few parameters and when I quit the notation software, poof, whole performance lost.  maybe a startup option?

just a suggestion...

Re: [feature req] reload last performance settings

Reaper always saves the complete state of Pianoteq.  Not sure about notation software.  They're more about notation than sound.

Re: [feature req] reload last performance settings

Yes, Reaper's very useful in that respect. It would be great to have that feature in Pianoteq standalone as well. Notation software is great (I'm a happy convert to MuseScore), but if you're using it for playback you can end up with some rather robotic-sounding performances, unless you're prepared to do a lot of MIDI editing later. Anyway, it might be worth a request to the developers of the notation software.

Re: [feature req] reload last performance settings

When using notation software for playback, I prefer NotePerformer, which uses AI to make the performance not sound robotic.  In terms of sound quality, the piano can be decent, but the strings, winds, etc. leave much to be desired.  The sound you get from notation software should always be considered a mock-up.

Thanks! Interesting...      I'd still like an option for a vst to save and reload last perf, though...
