Cool! Looking forward to seeing some results with Pianoteq (I'll upload some myself, eventually, provided I can get it to work )

Thank you dazric.
Uploads quickest with midi files.
Warmest regards,

interesting.
has anyone tried if it also works with music that has piano along with other instruments, for example a jazz piece that has piano, double bass, and drums?
i wonder if it manages to isolate the piano frequencies and runs the AI on those...
Hmm, just a bit worried that it came up with a Windows SmartScreen warning when I tried to install it. I know that perfectly good software from smaller developers sometimes does this, but it always makes me a bit cagey. Plus I couldn't find any reviews or info about the developer. Any thoughts?
my alarm bells just went off:
"Free trial plans automatically renew to a paid subscription unless canceled.
"You can cancel your subscription anytime by visiting "My Account" page on this website or going to the settings page inside Concert Creator."
there is NO cancellation option anywhere on their website or in the settings
stay away.
i will email their support now
EDIT: support says that the subscription is only for people, who paid for the software, and it doesn't apply to the free downloads.
however, that doesn't really line up with the small print on their website.
What's more freaky is this clause in the https://www.concertcreator.ai/eula agreement:
Without limiting the foregoing, the Licensor Parties make no warranty that (1) Concert Creator will operate properly, (2) the operation or availability of Concert Creator will be uninterrupted or free of bugs, errors, or malware (such as viruses), or (3) any defects in Concert Creator can or will be corrected. This paragraph will apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

holy s_hit!! first time I ever see such a clause.
I uninstalled the software this morning, but I really hope I didn't catch a virus...

Hey guys,
I’m the co-creator of the software. This clause is standard in many software to protect us if someone tries to breach our distribution servers and replace the binaries with corrupt versions (That said we have security measure in place to prevent that from ever happening)
You are free to use the software or not, it’s your choice. If you are paranoid about “malware”, you can download the Mac version which is code scanned and notarized by Apple. I’m not aware of Windows having similar notarization service hence why it brings up smart screen.

for anyone running a business, you should stay clear from calling your potential customers 'paranoid'.
especially when they raise reasonable concerns regarding your own terms and conditions.

Can't choose MIDI OUT device and i just want to use MIDI out to Pianoteq and disable Creator internal sound ? But it's not possible. Crash.
And can't quit Parameters menu.... withotu exit
How to ? Disapointed.
Anyway, great AI software , congratulations

Thanks! This use case is something we are looking into. For now, you can replace the rendered audio with your own audio when you export video from Concert Creator. The timing should sync perfectly with the original midi / audio.

There are also issues on Windows with MIDI.
When enabling MIDI out, I get double notes.
And it's not possible to use MIDI Loopback software in parallel.
It should be possible to select MIDI IN and MIDI OUT device for avoiding such issues...
An other issue, I had, is the lack of possibility of choosing a language.
In my case the software is partly translated to german (but not always correct), and partly it's in english.
I want to have the software in english, but there is no such option. I had to delete the german language files, to have the software in english...
Other minor issue is sometimes wrong/impossible fingering. But I'm sure, this will be improved...
And at least it can be edited manually.
Beside these issues, it's a great peace of software. I'm looking forward for future releases :-)

Currently Midi Out functionality is inconsistent, really sorry about that!
We are going to release update soon that will default the interface language to English (I agree localization is very poor for some languages and we will disable it for the meantime)
AI finger classifications is an improving process. In the "edit playing" mode you should be able to submit suggestions to the AI for future improvements!
Concert Creator may contain malware, it's unsigned. So I'm not opening the program. Otherwise, please fix so this warning does not block it.
It's not standard, and has been copied from Unreal Engine's EULA which is a framework used by third party game developers, which may use it to create viruses. Concert Creator is not a game engine used to create other Concert Creators. Searching "uninterrupted or free of bugs, errors, or malware" yields two results other than this thread and Concert Creator's EULA which are the one mentioned above (a game engine).
IMHO such a clause isn't needed anyway, for example the Transmission project download server had been hacked in the past and fixed, and it doesn't have such a clause, and its program is signed...
So fixing these two issues would solve the confidence problem in trusting the software in my opinion:
1. Must be signed and verified successfully.
2. Clause unneeded for the use-case, or describe the theoretical scenario exactly that it could be hacked etc but blocked via verification and thus the customer can avoid running malware easily, but they cannot now due to the former bullet but if it's fixed then the clause is again unneeded.

Where did you get Concert Creator from? You shouldn't be getting this message on macOS. Are you using Big Sur or some other version of macOS? When you download the app from our website (https://concertcreator.ai) you should be getting this message that states Apple has checked it for malware and non were found:
I double checked this today on my testing machine running macOS Big Sur and Concert Creator 0.81 downloaded from our website. Always make sure to download the latest version and only from our website.
Interesting. But, strangely, I get no audio either from their website or the application. Audio is working as usual with other sites and applications. The app requires login and uploads files to their servers for some of the processing. I'm not really keen on handing over my own compositions as MIDI files given there is nothing about how they will be handled/protected in the EULA.
Processing load does not seem to be extremely high (approx. 20-25% when actively playing back) but it drives the CPU frequency and fans on my laptop to maximum even when paused with Resource Monitor showing 1-2% CPU usage. The laptop has Nvidia RTX graphics, but after reading the notes about it I decided to install the standard version for the time being. Installation path is atypical but I let it do what it wanted: %AppData%\Local\Programs\Concert Creator.
Curious to hear the experiences of other brave souls.
I downloaded and installed this app today and find it a very impressive effort, especially given it's pre-release software.
As an ex software developer, the license agreement doesn't bother me at all since this app runs connected to a server.
I think the built-in video recording could be invaluable for anyone wanting to promote themselves on YouTube or other social media.
Kudos to the devs, but I have reserve judgement until we see the price upon final release.

I'm running latest (12.3.1), App Store or verified developers are allowed, and downloaded from the website... I have Non-App Store or unverified developers disabled on my machine.
