Topic: Herbie Hancock Solo on Fall - transcribed

Hi

I really love this solo from 1967. The rythmic harmonic and melodic languages are so rich and imaginative. It was a challenge to transcribe it in both hands.
The performance itself is generated midi so it is mechanical sounding.

great job with this awesome solo from one of the all-time greats.  his playing in this era has always been a huge inspiration for me.  you would probably enjoy the book The Studio Recordings of the Miles Davis Quintet, 1965-68 (Oxford Studies in Recorded Jazz) by Keith Waters, if you haven't seen it.  lots of analysis/transcriptions from those albums, including lots of Herbie's stuff.
