Topic: A little progress

The latest attempt at my Serpentine 1. Cancer of the nerve sheaths (last treatment in 2015, now in remission) can apparently require a very long recovery time.
Slightly modified Bluethner Chamber Recording AB preset.

Hello Steve!

I’m so glad you are back in the forum, uploading your wonderful and unique music. Sound so good. I have always liked your own style.

But, I’m so sorry this cancer has happened to you. It is a difficult thing and clear that one have to think about priorities in life. It is certainly challenging.
You have been through many difficult things in life.

It’s good that you are recording/uploading music because regular activities after a cancer diagnosis is a great way to further the healing process. Glad to hear it is in remission. As I have learned (friends with cancer) remission is usually a good thing — like when your cancer is in remission, it means that it is manageable and not getting any worse. I’m sure you have found your ”new normal” in this next phase of life.

It is always a pleasure to hear your music and it was very nice to hear from you
When someone has cancer I often return to this  ”if we remembered everyday that we could lose someone at any moment, we would love them more and do things differently”.

My care and support.

Thanks for sharing your music again.

Best wishes,

Stig

Thank you very much, Stig.

Thanks Budo. I'm trying to get the hands of my cancer-wrecked right arm back in shape, so this piece is kind of a workout for me; it was done in one take though, no editing, so that was kind of satisfying.
