Here again a piece that would require a lot of deep analysis, but I just wanted to listen and enjoy. But anyway, the last 40 seconds were absolutely incredible with the chords, tempo, rhythm, and then the sudden end. Wow! How can you play so masterfully?

And let me say this; I think the greatness of you, budo, is still not fully realized.
So many of my good music friends/musicians have left us. And I have often wondered why I did not give more positive feedback when they still played, and maybe really needed it - now it is too late…..which means that I often return to this ”if we remembered everyday that we could lose someone at any moment, we would love them more and do things differently”.

thank you so much for your wonderful feedback. your kind and encouraging words really mean a lot to me. about supporting others, i feel the same way as you do. there are many opportunities to support people, and definitely we should always strive to do so. i remember from an interview with Chick Corea that he said he never criticized any other musician, because everyone was on their own path to make their own music, and everyone's music was important. i feel that way myself, although when i was younger unfortunately i don't think i was as generous. that's one reason i really appreciate this forum. there are people making all kinds of music and taking all kinds of risks. it's really great.
