Topic: Does Gnome OS support Pianoteq?

Hello dear friends!

I'm interested to know if some Pianoteq users have already tried the "Gnome OS" linux distro.
I believe it is possible to enable the kernel in real time (low latency) just like in Ubuntu Studio and AV Linux distros. However, as it's not a Debian-based distro, I don't know if the Gnome OS distro would run Pianoteq.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Does Gnome OS support Pianoteq?

Looking at Gnome OS I see it is primarily for running on a virtual machine, which I doubt will give very good performance for a real-time music application like Pianoteq.  Also, it may be hard to connect with your audio interface with low-latency through a VM.   Obviously, you can just try it with Pianoteq and see what happens.  I think you'd have a much better experience using a regular Linux distribution.
