Topic: Red Clay (Pianoteq)

another Real Book track, this time Red Clay by Freddie Hubbard.  it's off one of his classic albums for Creed Taylor (CTI), a label from the 70s with lots of great albums by Freddie Hubbard, Jobim, George Benson, Joe Farrell ... they must have been popular at Berklee because quite a few tunes in the book were taken from them.

Re: Red Clay (Pianoteq)

This is soooo nice!  Amazing job. You approached this from a different angle, played a bit different than many of the other pieces. I was going to analyze a little deeper but….after the first fantastic minute I wanted to listen with closed eyes to the end. I was like completely bewitched. Incredibly wonderfully varied performance, superb playing.

You earned yourselves a loyal follower since i listened to your first upload. I’m a big fan of yours who strongly like, appreciate, support and is always interested in waiting for the next upload.

Thank you for taking time to upload these real book pieces. Keep them coming

Best wishes,

Stig
