Re: Pianoteq - Johann Ludwig Krebs

Hello J. Unruh,
I have a message in your previous upload Organteq - Samuel Scheidt

And this one, Johann Ludwig Krebs: Wer nur den lieben Gott läßt walten.

I like how you play those trills, very nice (myself have troubles with those). Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach believed that the trill usually starts at the upper tone of the trill…I think you played so, or..  ?

And beautiful sound, the slow tempo brings out the best of the sound in the  instrument. Enjoyed it much. Which harpsichord is this?

And thanks for your attachments to wikipedia. ”…..The eight short preludes and fugues……are now believed to have been composed by one of Bach's pupils…..Johan Ludwig Krebs…..(or his father)”
I have played all eight short preludes and there is one, in my opinion, that is not Bach, I think it is different and could be Krebs….BWV 554 prelude and fugue. What do you think?

Thanks J. Unruh for  uploading interesting music. Keep them coming, I’m always giving comments to music I’m listening to. It’s good to encourage each other and give info and ideas in this forum. I have learned much since 2013

Best wishes,

Stig
