Topic: Pteq Steinway B at home and three opera singers in the studio

I have done this three times now - recorded piano at home using Pianoteq Steinway B Recording then bringing that recording into the studio to combine with live instruments or singers. Coincidentally, the piano I am pretending to play in the video is also a Steinway B. Enjoy.

Re: Pteq Steinway B at home and three opera singers in the studio

First, a wonderful, beautiful melody, Pianoteq, then a soprano and two tenors, then all together - Wow, the joyful feeling you bring to me is unique.
Amazingly done!  I had to listen to the intro several times, wonderful from 0 - 0,24 is so excellent, and 25 - 0.48 even more beautiful…

Your own "Vocalise" with the participation of Three Adler Fellows (San Francisco Opera) is undoubtledly amazing music. Congratulations!

And,
not for a single moment, when listening, did I think you were playing a physically modelled piano - I thought I heard a real grand piano.

Thank you George so much for sharing this. The most beautiful music I have heard in a very long time. What a nice way to begin a new year

Best wishes,

Stig

I also imagined it was a real Steinway-B sounding, when I first watched the video.

The golden mics look nostalgic vintage.

That was a nice woork.

Thanks for the kind remarks. And, of course, the great thing about Pianoteq is that I can keep auditioning different pianos and keep tweeking them to my heart's content - which I will probably do.
