Re: Organteq - Alexandre Guilmant

I have not heard of this composer, Guilmant. Thanks for the english link. Found out that his organ output was great, 'L'organiste pratique’ was published in 12 books! And Guilmant's Eight Sonatas were conceived with the Cavaillé-Coll organ of La Trinité in mind - well, Organteq is inspired from Cavaillé-Coll's organs

I like this music, and beautiful video with birds singing in the end. The little forte from 2,44 - 3,00 is a nice effect.
I always listen to people’s way of using stops, registration (to get ideas). Which stops did you use in this piece?

Thank you much for sharing. It's always nice to discover new composers.

Best wishes,

Stig

Thank you very much for the kind message. Unfortunately, I did not note the choice of organ stops. I will be happy to inform you of the organ stops in future recordings.

All the best and Merry Christmas
