Topic: Small feature\interface request

The ability to use the keyboard, or a MIDI cc to:

1. Change the selected note in the various note edit panes.
2. Change the setting for that selected note.

In other words, in the Impedance note edit pane, one could use, say, the Tab key to move to any note, and then press an up or down arrow to raise or lower the impedance for that note. Another press of the Tab key would let the user move to the next note for editing.

Where it would be better, but perhaps trickier, is in the Spectrum Profile note edit pane. There, one would need one key to move to the next note, but another key to move to the next partial, along with the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the amplitude of the selected partial.

This would be valuable particularly if cc's could control these movements and selections while we were at our MIDI keyboard. One hand could play the note, letting the user listen to the differences while the other hand made adjustments, yes?

+1
That would be a really useful feature and save a lot of time instead of playing with the mouse or the keyboard to input values.

Re: Small feature\interface request

I like this. Would make for faster more accurate quick editing.

BTW, if this workflow does go into line for an update..

wishing it possible to make the controls compatible with the "Link" function in Studio One, using a FaderPort or ioStation24c?

(many plugins work, some only partly with Presonus "Link" feature - some require users to click a knob on the plugin interface, some have only some controls working).

Maybe if making Jakes's above requested changes, it might be opportune to do both since it may touch upon the same code areas?

ref - why I love the Link feature - would be great with Pianoteq.

It would be double icing, if text areas also were able to increment up and down using just mouse hover and the "Link" enabled hardware knob.

Maybe even, beyond just a Presonus thing, might it be possible to allow hovering mouse and setting a dpiano knob or slider in a similar fashion as Jake described? (like MIDI learn, but for up/down on any hovered control?)

Cheers.
