Topic: Doepfer PK88/LMK Sustain, Triple-Sensor Mod

Hi everyone, I'm new to PianoTeq and really loving the software. I also have a new Doepfer PK88 which has made traveling much lighter.

Would anyone know how to modify the PK88 to support a continuous sustain pedal (or dual continuous pedals)?
Also, is it possible to upgrade to triple-sensors?

And if anyone has additional upgrade ideas, I'm all ears.. I'm picky about the realism. I realize there are better keyboards/keybeds out there, but nothing beats the low profile of the Doepfer.

Re: Doepfer PK88/LMK Sustain, Triple-Sensor Mod

Hi, I own an old PK88 model (10 or 12 years old unit).
As far as I know, the PK88 is the less customizable controller of all the Doepfer catalogue.
My old unit doesn't support half pedalling (continuous values) just pressed or not (On-Off switch).
...and about travelling light, it´s one of the heaviest controllers that used the Fatar TP/40GH action. Also, if I recall correctly, that action is only a dual sensor action.

About the customizations, I'm afraid that you cannot make any of them, because the technical stuff is action dependant, so only way to upgrade is change the action, that is the same as look for another keyboard...

Sorry for the bad news.
