I wonder if anyone else, like myself, would benefit greatly with more velocity curve tweaking tools within Pianoteq??

Yes! I really struggled with the velocity curve for quite a long time. I'd like to see an interactive velocity meter with a rolling graph - something like Youlean Loudness Meter but for MIDI velocity. If it could show results both pre- and post- velocity curve, with the ability to select target ranges, it would be great! I'm sure it would be possible. Well, that's my idea. What do others think?

Thank you for your reply dazric. Many like myself struggle with the creation of velocity curves. But it is so important to get a pianistic curve that interacts well with Pianoteq (and indeed, whichever software you use). I would encourage any others out there to make more suggestions.
