Instrument loading in different versions

The Pianoteq instrument files are in PTQ format, which I noticed is the same file type for other VSTs that I own. 
I tried to load a PTQ file from one of these into my Pianoteq Stage version, but nothing happened.  Does anyone know if the full version will allow me to do this?
