I'm very happy to use a preset that sounds great while I'm playing, and that sounds great in recordings, even if it lacks as much reverb as most recordings seem to have. Still sounds like a real piano to me. Perhaps more importantly it sounds beautiful.
I found this piece in limbo from several months ago and decided that it was actually finished. It's satisfying to compose rapidly, as opposed to making seemingly interminable tweaks which tend just to make it slightly worse.
Do you ever meditate while playing? That is, keep your mind totally blank? Seems to have great results - that's what I was doing here.
