Topic: Pianoteq logo remake using Big Sur icon template

Now that I finally got a Mac Mini with the M1 SoC, I thought of redesigning the Pianoteq logo to match the rounded square logo template used throughout macOS Big Sur.

Logo was redone on Illustrator by extracting the ICNS file from the app and manually tracing the shape within Ai.

Your thoughts on the redesign? Maybe the Modartt team has already a logo redesign in mind as well…

Very nice logo. Thank you for sharing. Now using it for the Pianoteq standalone app in Linux Mint. If you happen to have (or can create) an SVG version of the shaded rounded-corner blue-square background, and if you don't mind, I'd like to use it to make a similar icon for Organteq (unless you care to do so yourself).

Here are two SVG icons that might interest you. You can use it. However they are not official (shapes and colors could change in the future).

Understand they might change, but they will work very nicely as icons for the time being, in Linux where installation and launcher-creation for Pianoteq and Organteq is done manually (rather than by an installer app or software package manager).

Thank you very much!

Re: Pianoteq logo remake using Big Sur icon template

Thanks for the SVG files gjoly. One issue I have though is that my logo is "too large" when lined up with the other icons in the dock. Maybe some sizing issue on my file? Most of the custom macOS icons I found had padding on all margins; this one does not.

The logo by Studiosnch looks very great on my M1.
I renamed the .png to .icns and put the logo into the Pianoteq program files.
After restarting of MacOS, the new logo is visible.
