a tune by John Coltrane:

this tune is supposedly inspired by Poulenc's Impromptu no 3.  i've linked a performance of that here (not by me) in case anyone wants to check that out

Re: Big Nick (Pianoteq)

There's a "filiation", indeed. Thanks for the link, Poulenc is a great composer.

Re: Big Nick (Pianoteq)

Bravo budo!  Nice ”flow” throughout the piece. And I always love the ending of your piano playing, especially the last minute in this piece - enjoyable, wonderful. I could listen to the last minute again and again….it’s so soft….

And I got curious about this. Was reading, nice story about George Walker Big Nic, Coleman Hawkins and Coltrane, how they influenced each other.
Well, after listening to all your real book playing, I think you influence me now. They had Big Nick - I have now Big budo
A sincere thank you - I’m grateful for your uploads because I myself can’t play this kind of music but I enjoy it much when you play

Best,

Stig

thank you again, i really appreciate it.  one of the nicest things about this forum in my opinion is that we are all doing different things.  there are classical people, jazz people, rock people, hymn people ... everybody is making their own cool stuff thanks to the power of {Piano,Organ}teq.  it gives us all a chance to hear new things!
