Topic: Roland FP60 vs Roland A88 MK2

Dear all,

I am thinking of purchasing a second keyboard.

I played the Roland FP60 today and like the touch.

I would like to ask anyone on this forum who has the new Roland A88 MK2 and who has also played the FP60 if they feel identical as I know of nowhere local to me who has the A88 MK2 to demo it myself.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Warmest regards,

Chris

As far as I know they share the same PHA-4 keybed.

If you can, get the FP90.  You will not be disappointed.

OK Chris;

After "24" 88 note controllers & Digital Pianos and I have had all the Heavy ones Avant G/ V-Piano_ MP11se KURZ MidiBoard etc, I bount the A88 mk2 for "live gigs"and simply love it. "BUT" I bought it primarily because (of The LONG game) of feel and that it has MIDI2....  and won't that be GRAND" when PT8 gets there etc. ( with the detail of MIDI2) Ken Boome
