Topic: Latency on the softer velocities - v7.4

There is a latency on the softer velocities. I can feel that more on the felted presets.
On the very low velocities, this can lead to have the note sound nearly in the same time as the hammer sound (note off).

Is this level of latency normal?

Thanks,
SK

Also, I just noticed that some very low velocities (1-2-3) don't give a note on sound. Could that be a bug?

May I ask if you own a Kawai MP11? It gives some latency to slow notes by design (anyway this feature is tweakable).
PS.: I don't have PT v7

No I play on a Roland DP.

Yes, stamkorg, I hear an increasing latency with lower velocities (less force) on the NY Steinway D Felt I and Felt II for example. This is not with the NY Steinway D Blues for example.

But no problem here with velocities (1-2-3). Input velocity 2 and 3 trigger a sound with the upper presets. I don't hear 1, but my custom velocity curve is very flat at the beginning and velocity 1 is probably rounded to 0.
