Topic: Swipesy, soloist Organteq, accompaniment Pianoteq

Swipesy rag   Joplin - Marshall

I got the idea to this version when listening to a jam session performance featuring three pianos, tuba and drums a saturday night ( attached video link).

And dklein, commenting my Bumble bee, said sometging about  ” …and the accompaniment in the organ”. I did it the other way and have Orgtq as soloist, + a bit drums and bass. The tempo should be a bit slower, but the jam session tempo made a strong impression on me. It’s like it changed the piece in a light and nice, funny way, in my opinion.

And the sound of Organteq, I tried to find like a mixture of soprano saxophone and trumpet….Organteq is a brilliant tool

Sheer craziness!  And I love the speeded-up video with the clock and the Flat-Iron building in New York.

Which of the three pianists in the lower video is you?

Nice joke, I like it. But, None of the three pianists.  My hands are unfortunately smaller. That I have struggled with all my life. But, I can play … somewhat..but never be a pianist.
Fortunately, now when not many years left, I do not think about it anymore
