Re: One more Trio

Hi Will,

First - I like you drumming, you have a great rhythm, you have energy and an own special drive, an own style and a bit dynamics (loud and soft), steady tempo, you have conrtol and keep it simple but nice ( as I have learned that amazing drummers don’t have to do incredible things) - well, as I said in beginning, I like it

Secondly - Nice name on a piece, The green fairy. Love those chords…drums, bass, piano - they go so well together. Really nice work. Well done. What piano do you use here ..? Is it modified?

Thanks,

Stig

Re: One more Trio

Many thanks, Stig, for the drummin' compliment.
I'm not Gene Lake or great drummers like him but it's cool if you like As regards piano, it's the first Steinway (HB) with just a little more hammers noise.

Hope you're not struggling with Widor's Toccata

Will

Re: One more Trio

Is that a "physical" bass ? And what about the drum kit ?

Re: One more Trio

I like your drumming and jazzy feel to the piano. I think the yellow fairy will be jealous!

It's a virtual bass (The upright one from GarageBand and Logic) with some equalization. The drum kit is the "old" GMS you can find in Superior Drummer 2 and EZ Drummer 1, but played live too
