Topic: Wurli inspired by Cory Henry

Hello guys! I bought PianoTeq Standard with the Petrof, Blüthner and electric pianos a week ago. I LOVE them. I've been playing so much more piano now and I feel so inspired. It's a huge different from using the standard sounds in my Roland RD800.

Anyway, I was playing around with the Wurli and remembered an old video of Cory Henry livestreaming on Instagram. I really really love the way that Wurli sounds so i tried to recreate it. Honestly I'm not that good at this stuff but i came up with a configuration that i was quite happy with and recorded a little improv. If anyone could do it even better or have any tips for getting the sound even closer i would love to hear them!

Here's my video:

Hello,

Your sound is not bad. Does Cory use more reverb and delay ? Maybe will you find more help in the Pianoteq user forum ?
It would be easier to compare with audio files, I think.

Hope you will find an answer

Hello! You are definitely right! I went back and raised the reverb and delay and it sounds even closer now. I could sit and play this for hours!
And sorry if this was posted in the wrong  place. I was under the impression that this is for recordings but maybe my post is actually more of a discussion/asking for help. Either way, i guess I'll let it stay here since i also posted a little recording

Done! I included a little mp3 demo in the upload too where you can hear the difference from the clip I posted in this thread.
