Topic: some Bach chorale improvisations (Pianoteq)

some improvisations working from Bach's 371 Vierstimmige Choralgesänge.  i know some people would consider this heresy, but it's meant sincerely with respect!  i guess everybody appreciates great music in their own way.

B.Mehldau, E. Ferlet and lots of musicians did it, so why would it be a heresy (unless those musicians are heretic ?). And Bach who liked to improvise...

thanks for listening and sharing that video.  actually i didn't know that Brad Mehldau recorded chorales but that makes total sense.  he's such a great player, i should really learn more of his work.

No chorales, indeed. But what he did in his "After Bach" is something different from Jacques Loussier.
