Topic: Den blomstertid nu kommer ( Now the time of blossoming arrives)

Played with Organteq. After the short intro I'm testing two different registrations.

Den blomstertid nu kommer ( Now the time of blossoming arrives) is a Swedish summertime hymn. It was first published in the 1695 Swedish Hymnal.
In Sweden and Finland the hymn is traditionally sung at the end of the school year, before the summer holidays, and as such it has reached widespread recognition in both Finnish and Swedish culture. It is strongly associated with summer, as well as primary and secondary education.
The number of verses sung in schools varies, but tends not to include all six. Sometimes only the first verse is used, in which the hymn's Christian origins are not apparent.
Zenos E. Hawkinson has written lyrics in English, as "Now Comes the Time for Flowers", from 1978.

Gérard! Thank you very much for comment on sound and for appreciating the post related to my music.
It is the culture that makes a place unique.   Finland has two national languages, Finnish and Swedish, both with equal status in most legislation even though Swedish-speaking Finns only make up about 5.% of Finland’s population. The summer hymn is sung in both Finnish and Swedish schools. Just mention as an unique example that, although only 5% swedish talking finns,  still in most parts of Finland, the bilinguality is hard to miss, since road signs (almost) everywhere are written in both languages
