Topic: Hi from a new organteq owner. Feature request.

Hello there all.

My name's Lewis, a blind church organist and pianist from Wales, United Kingdom. I'm a Mac user and iOS user relying on a screen reader called VoiceOver.

I'm writing to request the following features please, and I understand it may be a challenge, but worth asking for, so please forgive me treading on any toes.

Before I continue, Organteq has changed my life and I genuinely mean this. Hauptwerk is useless for blind users and the manufacturer simplly refuses to be involved at all, Organteq though initially not accessible, can be made accessible through a resource called VOCR for mac and as such can provide some decent accessibility functions, but that's not much to worry about when it's then configured to hardware midi controls. Then life gets so much more exciting. I'm in te process of making arrangements for an organ console as a midi system only, then I will have a fully tactile system to rehearse and record with, for the moment though, using a studiologic SL88 master keyboard with 4 layer midi, has it's drawbacks but does ok for basic work as an organ setup.

I'd like to request however particular functions missing from the design and they are somewhat necessary here...
1: General Set button to assign to midi.
2: An additional or 2 additional expression pedal controllers assignable to choir and great.
3: 32' pipe voices / stops for that trouser flapping presence and extra depth.
4: We need to expand upon the pipe specifications made available, it is limited in what it can do as apposed to Hauptwerk in terms of voices and ranks.
5: Give the option of a 4th manual (solo)
6: One of the most important matters here. Providing particular console specifications for English, German, Italian, French, Classical and Theatre specifications. These will mean that Organteq can serve a greater capacity and become a serious replacement to products like Hauptwerk, but also as software to be built into a particular linux distro to install to SFF based or SBC systems to install to organ consoles as midi retrofit systems.
7: ARM edition of Organteq please
8: iOS versions of both pianoteq and organteq so that as a blind user, a tactile method of manipulating information, etc as well as portability could be managed.
9: A possibility of a different or optional console interface scheme where instead of draw stops, a tab stop UI could be switched to.

Organteq is a pleasure to use for most functions, but needs to be expanded upon to make this a more serious threat against Hauptwerk in my honest opinion. Let's give the amazing devs working on this software the help and support they need and most importantly, encouragement. This is a system I'm proud to be using and incredibly thankful for.

All the best from the UK, take care, keep safe and God Bless.

Lew.
