Topic: Original Piano Compositions - late romantic/early 20th century style

Dear Pianoteq fans,

This is my first post in this forum.

This YouTube playlist contains several original compositions from 2020 in late romantic-era and early 20th century style:

The music is emotionally expressive and intense, interesting, virtuous, diverse. Each piece tries to tell a story.
The scores can be downloaded (for free). Please see the video descriptions for links.

For playback I used Pianoteq 6. The last piece uses Pianoteq 7.
For the piano I chose Steinway D with a few customizations. And I love it

Please let me know what you think.

Fantastic!  Takes me back to the 20th century in scope, grandeur, and angularity... I like it!

A very successful result at all levels. Realistically believable in terms of Chopinesque, and very enjoyable to listen to. A fascinating AI/human collaboration process.

Thanks for your kind comments! With these pieces my goal is not to mimic any past composers. Chopin purists will find many sections that Chopin would have done differently. Instead, my only goal is write music that I like. Especially, in the middle section there is a bit of a hidden Russian soul. The more I worked on this composition the more it darkened ;-)
Did you have a chance to listen to the other pieces, too? They are rather different from "Charming Smile". Anyway, thanks for listening and let me know what you think of the other pieces.
