I have a good friend who is in hospital. I'd like to play Pianoteq music for her in real time over the internet. Can you recommend a way of doing this that would maintain -- as far as possible -- the quality of the Pianoteq sounds. No need for video -- just the best fidelity possible. (She can wear headphones.) I would still recommend YouTube streaming from a PC where you have Pianoteq installed. You can do it without video, or use some static image or just use your webcam, the friend of yours don't have to actually watch it. For audio signal select the appropriate output in the settings. This way you can send the audio virtually indistinguishable from what you have at home, all done through virtual audio routing. It is very simple once you know how to do it, but may take some time for you to figure the things around, like routing the audio signals, probably using Loopback feature of your audio-interface, for example. All this topics are widely covered on the net.
There is also the Twitch platform. I don't know about youtube but Twitch allows for real-time chat along with the stream. You could check Twitch tv's music section to get an idea how its used even without joining Twitch.
