Re: Three pedals - recording and listening. Conveniently.
Thank you! Man, how much more convenient a loop feature would be?
A feature that might allow you to handle a track pad (or a mouse) to set loop start and stop points on the recorded MIDI track requiring no feet movement whatsoever... That might also allow all of that most recent recording and even whole playlists repeated!
While you can get it for some reason with iTunes and QuickTime, you apparently cannot with PIANOTEQ on your desktop.
Please do not misconstrue. I very much appreciate I can easily load an entire folder of piano classic performances from young very talented up and coming pianists recorded by the University of Minnesota via the International Piano-e-Competition, into PIANOTEQ and hear its entirety performed exceptionally (beautifully) on some of the world’s most finest piano instruments ever made (available).
However, if someone else and I were to want a similar experience repeated indefinitely, one has always to lethargically move over to a desktop, find either a mouse or a track pad, and the exact location of the first file that appears in the playlist folder before he or she hits the space bar to repeat the music (bars).
Now really that to me is an inconvenience.
It really is when music from the Piano-e-Competition can sound, well ‘pianoey’ (that is) enough for you to want it by sound software always repeated... (Smile.)
