I have to say this because as young I listened often to Mussorgsky with my pupils, One of the most fantastic part, 2,14 - 3,34 so far. It’s again like Mussorgski The hut on the hens leg (Pictures on an exhebition), but in my opinion better, more lively. I’m sure your exciting works one day are subject for research. Gaston, a remarkable French composer of the 21st century. I mean it. I suggest you put this in your next Hearthis set
I do love the way every time a resolution of a kind occurs, it is so short lived
The next arrives and we are so quickly transported to a new destination and before we know it, again we're transported somewhere new.. like the vivid memories from a walk across valleys from morning to twilight, with ever changing weather overhead.. a different field of view with each peak crossed. It instigates a very visual sensate experience for me.
Also feel the same as Pianoteqenthusiast who expresses it well. I first heard your music and thought I wish my improv would one day gain me the skills to go anywhere - and I'm always impressed with where you go Gaston!
Indeed unique (that's my personal highest joy derived from any art) and it does, for me, what new piano music can do so well, putting us in front of a well framed world and leaving with us a lasting impression to endure.
So good to enjoy your impressionistic world through your music, thank you, always.

Thanks both of you for your very kind words !
All these praise comments would make me take the big head ! Fortunately, my stats on Hearthis or Bandcamp help me keep my feet on the ground !
