Topic: Pianoteq 7 - non-exclusive mode?

Hi,

On my new laptop I installed Pianoteq 7, rather than 6 on my old laptop.

I am using ASIO (Audiobox USB 96)

I am trying to play along with backing tracks.   But it seems like Pianoteq 7 has taken exclusive control of the audio.  As soon as I start up Pianoteq, I can no longer hear my other apps (eg, YouTube or DJay Pro).

I don't see a way to turn off exclusive mode.   I didn't have this problem in Pianoteq 6.

How can I prevent Pianoteq 7 from taking exclusive control of the audio?

Thanks,
steve

Re: Pianoteq 7 - non-exclusive mode?

Folks FWIW I was able to fix my problem.
1. in advanced sound settings, i turned off "allow exclusive mode"
2. i adjusted the sample rate to 48khz, to be compatible with pianoteq

Now my rig is up and running.  woohoo

Have you got any problems with latency while playing from different sources with the same audio card?
