Topic: Request: Casio PX-S3000

Hello

Anybody worked up a good velocity curve for the new Casio PX-S3000?

Re: Request: Casio PX-S3000

I see this had no replies and it's been up for over a year.  Surely someone else here must have made some adjustments for their PX-S3000.  I would be very interested in this too.  I am new to learning piano (long time guitarist) so I don't have enough hands on experience with real pianos to to be confident making my own curve.

Re: Request: Casio PX-S3000

I really enjoy using the Casio PX-S3000 with Pianoteq.  The default velocity curve (straight diagonally upward line) is too harsh for my playing style.  I use the following:

Velocity = [0, 38, 72, 103, 127; 0, 23, 53, 85, 127]

Note you can copy the line above, go to Pianoteq velocity curve area, right-click in area and choose Paste.

It is simple, but in my opinion it really makes Pianoteq sound excellent and much better.  Having the right velocity curve for your keyboard and playing style is extremely important to make Pianoteq sound its best.
