Topic: A fresh Fazioli recording

For all those Fazioli fans, here is an at-home recording of Jeffrey Kahane, the artistic director of the Sarasota Orchestra and the head of the Sarasota Music Festival, playing three Chopin Mazurka's and three Chopin Nocturne's on one of his two Faziolis in his home. 

I do not have details on how the recording was made, nor details on either the Fazioli that he chose to play, nor even on the Fazioli that he chose NOT to play [!], but the recording is certainly contemporary.

Nice. Thank you dklein! I'm a Fazioli fan. Who knows, maybe we can say that we have just recieved the information about the forthcoming Pianoteq Fazioli

Nice video; thank you for sharing it.  It looks--from the size at the start of the video--like its an F228 (it could be the slightly smaller F212 but those are fairly rare compared to the more standard F228).  From the sound, the mic is positioned high and to the right of the case--away from the keyboard and action and picking up roughly half room tone and half piano tone.
