What a delightfully quirky and creative piece Stig! channel Saint-Saëns’s playful spirit is captured so well here—the rapid, clanking motifs and bright registrations do a hilarious job impersonating the pecking and crowing of hens and roosters!
Taking a break from structured counterpoint and serious repertoire to just have fun with physical modeling is what makes virtual instruments like Organteq so enjoyable. The humor translates brilliantly.
