Topic: Grand C1 from Pianoteq1 sounds different into further versions

My best whishes to Modartt for this new exciting year 2020 !

since a long time i wanted to post a little whish :
in 2007 year, the very first song i composed using Pianoteq, was with the original default preset "Grand C1".
And each time i tryed to play the track with Pianoteq from V2 to V6, i never reached exactly the same resonnance character.

the main sound is really the same, but not the resonnance. i tryed lots of tweakings with microphones placings, headpones... but never retrieved the same, so that need always to install Pianoteq 1.
Well this works, but it exists only in 32bit DLL.
Bridging it leads to some instabilities  (random freeze) into Cubase 64bit when displaying plugin interface.
and Cubase 64bit says "there is a serious problem".

would it be possible to make an addon  "V1.ptq" including exactly ALL the soundboard of Pianoteq 1 ?
or... maybe easuer : compiling a 64 bit version of Pianoteq 1  ?

Same thing for the Grand D4 model, which i would like to keep the exact soundboard resonnances from... Pianoteq v4.2
and that as changed in Pianoteq v4.5. So that i continue to install the v4.2 instead of v4.5 for keeping the exact resonnances.

if possible to compile a more complete "V4.2_GrandD4.ptq" addon including ALL from the V4.2 algorythms,

....this should be awesome, so that i could convert all my track for a Pianoteq Pro 6 VSTi plugin slot

Did you try the V2.ptq add-on from the legacy section in the user area? It contains a copy of the C1 as it was in Pianoteq 1. Similar thing with D4v4.ptq.

Re: Grand C1 from Pianoteq1 sounds different into further versions

yes, it is in V2.ptq,

and the main sound is the "Grand C1", but it doesn't behave the same because of passing throught a different soundboard,
and i can't reach the same character, even with tweaking mikes positions... ( and the original stereo mode is different )

...not yet for "D4v4.ptq"
