Topic: Organteq - 1

Just playing with Organteq, one manual, setting a few of the pistons (combinations) to be triggered by MIDI program changes on the keyboard's buttons.

Organteq makes me want to obtain a 2-manual MIDI instrument and MIDI pedalboard in order to begin to explore and exploit the possibilities.

It is with pleasure Stephen.

I have a home made console with 3 MIDI keyboards
I'll get my pedalboard after Christmas and then all will be complete.

I use all this to record all my creations (I can play but I can't read nor write the music)

If you follow the link in my signature you'll discover all my works

And in the FXP corner, I've placed all my presets for Organteq. I created them according to the historical organs distribution that I found on the web.
I played some of these organs.
I wish you a lot of pleasure with Organteq

That's very impressive; not only your music of course, but also that you built your own 3-manual MIDI organ. How were you able to do that?

Thank you. in fact I first had a Korg piano, then I got an old ALESIS Quadrasynth and I purchased a swissonic 69 keys

After that, I only had to connect these devices to my PC on which I installed the DAW: Reaper and some VST Plug-in

Finally, I built a wooden console to place the keyboards and the PC.

I use Organteq both in standalone and as a VST plug-in to integrate the organ into some compositions such as:

Thank you again for your message

Re: Organteq - 1

Jacques, what type or brand of pedalboard will you have? I hope to obtain a MIDI pedalboard also at some time.

Stephen
The pedalboard is not a new one. I bought a pedalboard which comes from an old Viscount analogic organ. A professional will transform it to make it MIDI compliant

There are several brands for pedalboards but thay are so expensive that I choosed this solution a lot less costy (500€ instead of minimum 1500).

Stephen
you also have this solution:

a DIY pedalboard

Thanks. That seems like a sensible approach.

The PMK custom pedalboards are very interesting as well, and fairly low-cost. Thank you for the link and information.
