Topic: Linux - JACK interface and LV2 plugins?

I just downloaded the "organteq_linux_trial_v100.7z" from the Modartt site.

It just contains one executable. This executable only links to PulseAudio.

Does the full version also provide a LV2 plugin version and a full interface  to the JACK Audio server?

Re: Linux - JACK interface and LV2 plugins?

I downloaded the paid archive and it only contains one file. I'm currently on Windows, so cannot test it (no support for audio in WSL), but here's what it is linked to:

No LV2!
No jack audio support!

Only ALSA and Pulse Audio...
If you are interested in jack audio then you can momentarily use a bridge between ALSA and JACK.

Organteq works fine on my Linux computer using Jack. "Jack Audio Connection Kit" is listed in Organteq's Options-->Devices, and in QJackctl, Organteq appears as "alsa-jack.jackP.nnnn.n (the n's represent a number that is variable: changes every time Organteq is launched)

Linux, Pianoteq Pro, Organteq

Re: Linux - JACK interface and LV2 plugins?

I sent a question about this to the support and they replied a plugin version for GNU/Linux is under development and will be available in about a week.

I tried again with a newer version of ubuntu linux and with ubuntustudio 19.10 (which has JACK pre-installed) it works. The audio device is displayed as "JACK Audio Connection Kit"
