My chorale is a hymn I composed, dedicated to my son. I miss him. He was always interested in my music making.

Strange feelings i get from this piece.
Hard to explain and perhaps there is no need to, because the music has already succeeded.

Hello gasparka! Thank you for your support and comments. I think an important function of my music is to create a mood or atmosphere so as to prepare/put the listeners for thinking through the whole piece. If people get excited/moved/enthusiastic/delighted or whatever by the music…..…that’s fantastic! What makes recordings/music immediately appealing? Can’t answer, we are so different. It’s probably about mood, expectations, life experiences, musical preferences…..I got a similar comment as yours about my first upload here 12.08 2018. Thank you for listening to my music. And good luck in the competition!

I agree.
How old was your son? I'm sure he would have loved this. Who knows, he may be enjoying it as we speak.

Thank you PaptainClanet, for your kindness and thoughts, that soften my grief. I miss him much - and yet he is still here. I always love him - and now. He was 45 when past away in cancer.

I believe that a bond and love that strong can manifest through the universe to wherever/whenever/whatever our spirits go to and become after death. It is a beautiful thing, and your music reflects it! Take care, and try to feel some peace in the idea that you are sending out so much love into this space that we all share, those living and already passed.
