I just came across this sad news. Paul was a contributor to Pianoteq and is listed among the referees. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones,

Chris

He personal early piano, Anton Walter pianoforte, was used for the creation of pianoteq add on. He was personaly impressed with the pianoteq emulation.

He says (somewhere in the midth of the video), there are actually about 500 steps by a skilled pianist betwenn pianissimo and fortissimo.
So a competent plea for Hi Res MIDI !!

Impressive considering he was battling cancer for about 3 years and was 91 years old.

Poignant concert indeed. He was a great pianist, a great teacher also, and a very kind man.
