Topic: Cécile Chaminade - Caprice-impromptu, Op.153

This recording I did with Pianoteq 6 Stage, Blüthner Model One. Chaminade is a forgotten composer, but here compositions show great attention to pianistic detail and a lot of creative ideas. It would be nice to see here pieces more performed. I really enjoyed the touch of Pianoteq for this one. In fact, using Sample libraries I was not able to make this video, since I bought Pianoteq it was possible

Enjoyable! To me it’s a bit like music by C. Debussy. Nice to hear unknown composers. I read that most of her works were published during her lifetime, but during the second half of the 20th century, her work became forgotten. You are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks for your kind comment. I am doing my best to play her works and make them public, but sometimes they are a bit difficult

Wow. Chaminade is indeed seriously underrated, and it's great to hear that you champion her works.
