exciting

Re: When will Organteq be released?

It's logic to presume organteq will not be released before it not just be ready but also reach competitive quality with the best virtual organs on market.

Re: When will Organteq be released?

Not sure if that's logical to assume. Pianoteq 1 was released and it wasn't competitive in sound quality until quite a later date, really...

When they started they didn't have the quality of competition today, or the wealth of modelling experience, or the reputation to uphold.

Going by your comment I wonder if you have some inside knowledge?:
I guess it might not be considered serious competition at first if they release a relatively small scope product (with a low number of modelled organs and modest intro price) but keeping the quality high?

Re: When will Organteq be released?

A music industry associate of mine once said, "If you want to see where someone is going, just look at where they have been".  Have a look at the ABOUT section under www.pianoteq.com.  You can read the bio briefs on the primary people involved with the Modartt project.  They not only know where they are going but are willing to share their anomolies as they progress.

Yes... but Modartt was in infant times as a company back them...  If I remamber well they regret a bit it was released so early.
Now they are much more mature in relation with the market.
