Topic: Old Piano M3 in Pianoteq 3 is CFX ???
Hello, I think about it for a while, but now I have almost no doubt:
the M3 seems to be the CFX !
I compared it with the sound of my Clavinova CLP 645: the sound is very similar !

Sounds like it's not a CFX but a CLP . . . .or, CFX Super-Lite! maybe PT could re-introduce it . . .
I don't remamber about any mention to M3 be based in a Yamaha CFX. But I did a brief research and found Yamaha CFX was introduced in 2010. But pianoteq M3 it's from the beginning of 2009. So it can't be Yamaha CFX or even somehow based on it.
In early years Modartt used to say any given piano of them, with exception o KiVIR project, was based in more than one brand.
Very old models can't be updated to sound as good as the best add-on in modern píanoteq version. It would be better to create the Yamaha CFX from scratch than try to turn M3 into a Yamaha CFX.
