Topic: Pastorale

Like a pastorale, exploring this kind of music (new direction - well what is new direction in music?  :-)    perhaps not the music you listen to often. But to me it is kind of idyllic, pleasingly peaceful and innocent…
Describes shepherds herding livestock around land according to seasons. Maybe, deep in my thoughts, to some extent, partly - there were a little bit of Gaston-style when composing this music.
My Bechstein DG Prelude, a bit modified for this piece.

Re: Pastorale

Hey, I do like what I'm hearing over there !
You are on the way to freedom !
The Gaston School's higher authorities have decided to admit you to the sophomore year !

Re: Pastorale

Dear Gaston! So now I’m no longer a freshman (a little fish) anymore :-) And I’m familiar with the great teachers Gérard, Louis, Gaston, Jules and Georges. It means more responsibility when the amount of homework goes up in Gaston-school. I try to make up for any mistakes I made during the first year. So thank you for the assistance you have provided me during my  first  year. I appreciate the information and advice you have shared. Thank you so much!

PTE, enjoyed the visuals and "topic" again ... very restful, heartfelt! Nice. Hard to not be influenced by Gaston, so original.

Thak you honjr! Glad you enjoyed the visuals too. Yes, I’m a bit influenced by Gaston sometimes (Gaston-school :-)
It’s much about to ”wake up” the emotions of the listeners in a specific way. There’s the musical creativity. You have, with your music, succeeded in doing it. I’m trying too. Thanks!
