Topic: The Ghost of Wolfgang (in tribute to Mozart)

Played on the Steinway D using distant miking borrowed from Steinway B (but with much reduced reverb and room size). String Orchestra comes from EWQL Orchestra.

I actually got to perform this one live with the backing of a high school string orchestra a few years back. Musical influences range here from Mozart (of course) to Chopin, Verdi, and Philip Glass (of all people).

Fantastic! The part from 17 seconds to 20/25seconds, 32-34, 40-42 the piano! it brings back so many memories - Symphony No. 40 in G minor, Mozart. Listened to it many times over 40 years ago with my pupils, they made paintings to it, liked it.
This music sounds so nice I could listen to it every day. Brilliant!  I think you  are so gifted. Thanks for posting this music!

Wow!  Really nicely done.  I love the 'conversation' between the piano and the strings section.  Also, the simple restraint that it marches continually forward but doesn't get 'in your face' is really refreshing.  Superb!

There is even something from Michel Legrand who has just left us ...
