Topic: Help Second instance of PTQ6 on W10

Hi all,

I created a second .exe file of PTQ and assigned it another --prefs file where it should save the different setting of the program.

When I double clicked on it, it asked me to enter the serial, so I did, and it opened setting window. A notification poped up as well, saying that the prefs file couldn't be saved, I should check file permissions.

I tried everything and didn't manage to let the program change this second prefs file permanently, since everytime I open this second instance of PTQ, it keeps asking me for the serial..

Any help out there? Also happened on W8.

Thanks in forehand.

You can run two instances of PianoTeq inside of an Audio Host, and define different settings for each.

Or, with Windows, you can log in as a different User, and have a free-standing PianoTeq, each with its own Prefs file, separately for each User.
