Topic: Are the FXP files working for you?

I have been downloading a few preset fxp files from the user forum but have found that I am not able to replicate the same sound as expected from the samples users have uploaded. Shouldn't it be possible to just load these files into Pianoteq and achieve the same (or at least pretty close) sound? What am I missing??

Assuming that you have Standard or Pro (fxps will not be fully effective in Stage, especially if changes have been made to mics, etc.), my first thought would be to check or set your velocity curve. The velocity curve makes a huge difference - try the presets and you will see what I mean.
