Topic: Melody for Steingraeber Under Lid

At first, some information/introduction about the video/music that I feel may be of interest to you.
Preset: Steingraeber Under Lid”, (modified, a bit like the head under the lid, close to strings). This music ”was born” one night, I followed my intuition with many nice chords on a paper -  I call this music ”Un peu de tristesse/A little sadness” . Steve Jobs once said that intuition is more powerful than intellect. Well, don’t know, maybe he experienced that intuition works faster……..Anyway, Ptq + intuition makes me creative.
This music piece goes much in minor key. Because, my son passed away 3 months ago. Playing Ptq help me when i sometimes feel sad. And I think sometimes music in minor keys can be more beautiful and more emotionally appealing than music in major keys.
It maybe a bit out of topic, but why do some people enjoy sad songs more than others? Although they don’t become sad when listening? Is it probably that music evoke different emotions for almost all of us?
If this music has an emotional impact on you - feel free to provide some comments that might be of interest to the readers/listeners.

Thank you for taking the time to read my introduction.

Very nice!
I tend to prefer minor chords and harmonies, or unresolved ones (lacking the third, major or minor).
Sorry about your son; death is a difficult fact of life.
Best wishes--

Thank you so much, Gaston.

Beautiful. It certainly moved me, as I couldn't help thinking of loved ones who had passed away. Music can indeed be a great comfort in times of loss. It's very difficult to describe, but there's a sort of 'glad sadness', like remembering happy times that you have spent together - I think you'll know what I mean.

Thank you, dazric, for your kind words and comment.  I really do appreciate it and  you’re right when saying ” ….there’s a sort of 'glad sadness', like remembering happy times that you have spent together”. Yes, you nailed it!
