Topic: and yet _more_ "dreamy" music...

inspired by the "theme of the day" on the board here, here's a quick little take I did after lunch today of Liszt's Trübe Wolken (Nuages Gris) S.199 (1881) using the 1922 Erard:

'rather fitting as we finally are getting some lovely grey clouds here in London!

Re: and yet _more_ "dreamy" music...

Hello _DJ_,
At first when listening to this, it gave me a dark feel….I thought, what is this? Then I saw the name Trübe Wolken (Nuages Gris), and translated it - grey clouds, and read your ”'rather fitting as we finally are getting some lovely grey clouds”. Of course, then I understood. Had to listen several times - and now I like it very much! Can see those clouds when listening. It is quite short and don’t seem like it is technical so difficult. But, it is dreamy music in another way. At first it was a bit challenging but therefore it keep my interest for longer. Thank you very much for posting this. Learned something new again.
Well, that’s what I think about it.
