Topic: Steingraeber for Digital Pianos Yamaha

Hello, I created a new FXP specifically for the CLP-645, but I think this is also valid for the entire CLP range, and certainly other brands.

I let you discover and give me your opinion; it's a very personal preset but I think it has a different dimension than the factory presets.

(I plug my PC in midi, and I connect a simple audio cable mini jack-mini jack so that the sound is heard through the speakers of the piano.I do not connect the piano to the PC by the USB cable because otherwise there has noise in the speakers and of course I turn off the sounds of Clavinova).

appears in the FXP corner (Steingraeber 645)

Re: Steingraeber for Digital Pianos Yamaha

Thank you pianissim, it works well. I'd say it's quite a strong sound with some good air.

Re: Steingraeber for Digital Pianos Yamaha

I just released a new version of my preset, which improves velocity with the Clavinova and the difference of sound colors between velocities

Hy, pianissm.

I think of buying an upright digital piano with loud speakers to use the Pianoteq when I want to record and use the internal sounds to practice.
What do you tell me about this clp 645 interaction with pianoteq?!
Surpassed your expectations?

Are you putting the pianoteq sound through the 645's internal speakers? Did you need to make any changes in the equalization to improve the sound ?

Do you already know that Yamaha has released a driver to use the CLP 600 series as a driver and a simultaneous sound card?
It seems that the sound already comes straight into the internal speakers of the piano. The audio is transmitted via usb cable.

All this in the new firmware 2.0 ( https://usa.yamaha.com/products/musical...loads.html )

Hello, I did not know about USB ! Thank you !

I didn't touch the equalization, I do not know enough...

I started to test the new Gewa digital piano, which sounds a lot better with Pianoteq than with my 645 ! there is just latency and the lack of power... I will test with my soundcard tomorrow

your answer falls perfectly !

Re: Steingraeber for Digital Pianos Yamaha

Ok, pianissm.

I already use my mox6 with pianoteq this way (mox6 output to monitors and conected only with usb to host on my windows laptop)
Mox6,when connect to computer, transform to a soundcard(via steinberg driver with asio(for low latency))

I would like to know how this interaction will occur, from the Clp 645 (like midi controller and soundcard) with Pianoteq, only with 1 usb cable passing midi and audio.
Especially since I'm looking to get the Clp 645 for training and recording. I know their keys are good, have a good speaker system and have a good look.

NOTE: You need to upgrade clp firmware(yamaha website) in order to be able to transmit audio and midi information throughout usb cable

Sorry for my bad english. haha ha...
