Topic: Problem with midi input in 6.2.2

Experimenting with some different reverbs in 6.2.2 - suddenly my midi input keyboard is knocked out. The only way I can get it back is to turn the keyboard off and on again (restarting Pianoteq doesn't work). This has happened more than once. Has anybody else had this problem?

I did have a clicking that was synced with the metronome when trying to export a sequence ... restarting Pianoteq did not stop it but restarting the computer then Pianoteq did resolve it.

Lanny

Hmm, here's a weird thing. I went back in today, again changing reverbs in the presets, and this time the midi input behaved itself. Maybe it was just a blip before (I hope). If there are problems again I will post an update here.

My Numa compact 2 froze a few times... Also had to turn it off and on...
I don't know or Pianoteq is the cause of this, but it should not happen.

Re: Problem with midi input in 6.2.2

Oh dear, it's happened again (for clarity, I'm referring to standalone on Windows 10). This time the midi input was lost in the middle of playing, and I hadn't even altered anything in the preset. Rebooting the keyboard restored it, but a few seconds later it was gone again. It seems as if the gremlins are running rampant in 6.2.2 (I've had some random audio glitches as well), so I think I'll revert to 6.2.1 for the time being.

Re: Problem with midi input in 6.2.2

This is not happening over here. I'd check your USB or MIDI cables perhaps (depending on how you connect your keyboard).

Hard work and guts!

Yes, I did wonder about the cable. I have a spare, so will try that before I do anything drastic...
